Nice. We saw a lot of color up in Wisconsin, but less and less as we headed home to Arkansas. Also saw a lot out in Wyoming in early September. Our peak is still a couple or weeks away, at least.

  2. Seestor Says:

FANTASTICO!!!! Love the first one. Love the super green tree. Love the bright fall vistas.

    🙂 👍

  3. Friar's Mom Says:

For some reason, I find this year’s fall colours spectacular, and colourful for a long period of time. Perhaps it’s a combination of sporadic overnight frost, followed by warm days which we have had since September.

I too enjoyed the photo of the tall green tree against the clouds. There’s something about a road in a photo or painting, it draws our vision into the photo.

I remember when you snapped the last one. The overhead sky was so-so, but it certainly made for a wonderful reflection. Goodonya!

  4. Friar Says:

@Mike Yeah it amazes me how just a few hundred miles of latitdue makes a huge difference in when the peak colors happen.

@Seestor Thanks! I like the green one…even though the leaves hadn’t changed yet.

@Friar’s Mom I always wondered why the farmers left this one tree, but no others.
